From Trade Exhibitions, to Conferences, Training and Meetings - Events are an important business.  Online information about what is on and where provides an invaluable resource to the relevant trade and is another potential revenue source.

PublishingMedia's Events feature is built using the DataMedia module of the system and can be configured to specific requirements. 

For Exhibitions, it can provide all the functionality for Exhibition information and details, Exhibitor listings (with some or all of the functionality of the Directories module), Visitor Registrations and Stand/Floorplans.

Relational linking between Exhibitors and various Exhibitions can be made and provided as part of any Search functionality.  For an example of this please visit www.itshowcase.co.uk.

For other Events, such as Training Courses, Conferences etc., any type of database can be configured in order to capture details about what the event is and where, as well as providing a 'booking' and payment mechanism if required.  Searches and Results can be fully configured to meet specific requirements.

This module can also be used for building and managing a Diary of Events and when linked with the Email Marketing module can provide personalised 'Alerts' to site Users.

The same data can also be exported for off-line use at any time - eg. for  production of a show Catalogue if required - one set of data for cross-media use.
